Generating a new password

A password generator is a tool used to automatically generate a random strong password based on standard password guidelines. While manually generated passwords often contain people’s names, birthdays, and predictable personal keywords, auto-generated passwords tend to include a random combination complex, non-personal phrases or codes, which makes these passwords impossible to crack using brute-force or dictionary techniques. Additionally, these tools help generate unique passwords for every requirement, thereby avoiding the reuse of old passwords.

SupremeViewer Server uses Random Password Generator to create strong and secure passwords consisting of numbers, capital and small letters. The characters rendered from this auto password generator are entirely random and won’t transmit over the internet. SupremeViewer does not store passwords in the cloud. They are stored encrypted locally only on the host computer where the SupremeViewer Server is installed/running.

SupremeViewer Server should be running in order to change its password.

1. Open SupremeViewer Server Interface

2. Click the icon next to the password.

3. Generate new password.

In the “Change Password” window click “Generate” button.

4. Update the password.

Click the “Update Password” button to update the old password with the new one.

5. Complete.

The old password is replaced with the new one in the SupremeViewer Server Interface.
Note: If there is an existing connection between the SupremeViewer Client and Server during the change, it will not drop. The next time when the Client tries to log in, it will need to enter the new password.
